mapreduce - System configuration in hadoop -


i trying setup hadoop multi-node cluster using hadoop version(1.2.1) on 2 name-nodes , 4 data-nodes(8 gb ram,1 tb hdd,intel core i7 processor). want run application amounting 100 gb in size(the details of application confidential in nature).can please tell me should configuration(same or different?) above system run application? interested in hardware considerations of cluster. these considerations dependent on application? instance hardware required run 100 gb wordcount application different other application?

yes, can use same configurations run application on 100 gb file.

python - Django-cities exits with "killed" -
